Introducing Kinfolk - The cafe that gives a fork
May 28th, 2019 — News
This month we are pleased to introduce you to one of our newest members, the friendly and feel good Kinfolk. A volunteer-driven café and catering service, Kinfolk is a social enterprise that has been nestled at the West end of Bourke Street for 9 years. Working closely with the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre and the Cathy Freeman Foundation, Kinfolk donates 100% of their distributable profits towards these charity partners. The team also work alongside volunteers from many different backgrounds to deliver specialised training, capacity building and inclusivity with each day's service.
In addition to this, Kinfolk offers light-filled spaces ideal for workshops and team meetings, conferences, presentations, product launches, weddings, parties and private events. Not to mention The Subway, a quirky, interesting underground space, housed in the historic former Omnibus and Tramways building. From feasting menus to canapes and hampers for delivery, Kinfolk have all your catering and events needs covered! Serving great coffee and seasonal food, be sure to drop by and say hi to the team.
