Every month we have at least one event somewhere in the CBD, showcasing one of our members and also allowing members to meet each other and make mutually beneficial connections.
In June we visited Little Lon Distilling Co which is a small gin distillery located in a heritage-listed red brick cottage (c1877) in Melbourne’s CBD. Once the slums and red light district of Melbourne, Little Lon District was a place to both celebrate and commiserate while forging a life best lived. Drinks were poured, deals were made, arguments were thrown, and laughter abounded.
Today, Little Lon Distilling Co pays tribute to the lively characters who once lived in the laneways of Little Lon, distilling a range of small-batch gins, very much influenced and inspired by the energy of this great city. It’s their way of keeping Melbourne’s spirit alive.
Members enjoyed a welcome drink, gin tastings and canapes whilst catching up with City Precinct colleagues, reconnecting with familiar faces and making new connections.
